sleep. He’ll spend the first part of his presentation walking us through
some of the best parts of the conference. Then he’ll be talking about
Python 3000 — what’s the big deal, what we should expect and how to
prepare. Finally, he’ll be showing off a bit of Python and Django - the
Python web framework.

For those of you who haven’t been exposed to the programming language
Python, this will be an excellent way to find out from a skilled
educator how this simple (to learn and to maintain) yet powerful Object
Oriented programming language can be easily and freely installed on
Windows, Mac and Linux computers and help you to be more productive and
have fun at the same time!

Directions to the event:
Take Dole Street Koko Head bound (East) and turn Mauka (toward the
mountains) on East West Rd. Take the first possible left turn onto an
unnamed access road and park in Lot #11. If there is a guard in the
kiosk there, just mention that you’re there to attend the “Open Source
Pizza” presentation.

A campus map can be found at http://manoa.hawaii.edu/map/uhmmap.pdf The
Marine Sciences Building and parking lot with Entrance Kiosk are at C4
on that map.
